Please Note: This is the 6th and final novella of the series and they do need to be read in order. Mature 18+ readers only. It contains explicit sex scenes.

My review: I am not entirely sure what to make of the ending of this serial.  Throughout the installments we’ve met two people so different from one another grow closer through trials and tribulations that are present in any relationship and they have both come out on top.

Everything that they have been through ultimately leads up to this point.  Sir wants to get married and have kids.

Worst part for me? Mack says no.  However, we find out her reasons for that no and finally hear a bit about her parents, who we haven’t heard much about at all.  Her reasons are good ones – her parents’ marriage wasn’t exactly a stellar example of a happy marriage so Sir takes her to meet his folks and shows her an example of a happy marriage.  Of how their marriage could be.

Can I just say how sweet that is?

I won’t give any further spoilers but overall this serial has been very good.  I’ve enjoyed the writing, the drama and the characters.  Props to Megan Keith.

Who knows, maybe in the future, we will see more from Mack and Sir?

My rating: 4 stars
