Top Ten Hyped Books I’ve Never Read

Top 10 Tuesday Hi all!  This week’s Top Ten Tuesday feature as hosted by The Broke and The Bookish is: Top Ten Hyped Books I’ve Never Read

All images link back to their respective Goodreads page.

There’s always that one book that is so hyped by everyone and the more hyped it gets the less I want to read it.  A classic for me is Fifty Shades of Grey – I read that when it was first released within a few days of release and it was easily the worst 350 pages I’ve ever read.  Below are the Top Ten (in no particular order) of Hyped books I’ve never read and most likely will never ever read.

Books that are too hyped for me are an automatic never read – or maybe read one day in the future when everyone has forgotten them and they’ll old and dusty.

The Girl on the Train

Gone Girl

Shiver (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #1)

Eragon (The Inheritance Cycle, #1)

Angels and Demons (Robert Langdon #1)

Outlander (Outlander, #1)

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Millennium, #1)

Grey (Fifty Shades, #4)

Life of Pi

Water for Elephants

    1. I have a thing against hype. I read the first fifty shades book but didn’t read the second or third. I read the twilight books when they were first released and didn’t understand the hype when it blew up

      1. Ive never seen the movie. But I’m sure the book is definitely better. Far better from what you tell me. Whatever you choose to do, is up to you, but I just personally love this series. 😄
