WWW Wednesday #16 – 21st October 2015

This meme is hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.

Why not join in? Just answer the following three questions in a post and then put a link to that post in the Comments over at Taking on a World of Words.

The questions are:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

All images link back to their respective Goodreads page.

Bitter Blood (The Morganville Vampires #13)What am I currently reading?

I’m actually only reading Bitter Blood by Rachel Caine this week. I’m struggling through the book and I’m quite disappointed it’s taken me so long. I’m not entirely sure where the book is going, I’m only 50% through it.

I have the other two left in the series after this and I’ve got about six novellas lined up to blitz through currently.

Monsters Within: A Paranormal Vampire Romance Thriller (Veiled Series Book 1)What did I recently finish readingCity of Cruelty and Copper (Temperance Era, #1)?

From last week  I finished Monsters Within by Victoria Knight, it was recommended by BuzzFeeds Books a few weeks back for Halloween. I’ll admit, it was actually alright, a bit confusing at first as it was written a little strange but still quite good. I also finished City of Cruelty and Copper by Rhiannon Paille, man was that a good twisty book!

I also finished several novellas: Chronicles of Steele: Raven 1: Episode 1 by Pauline Creeden, A Thread of Magic by Crista McHugh, Loving Her Cowboy 1 by Judy Reed, The Only Reason for the London Season by Kristen Vayden, Dancing with the Duke by Susanna Medeiros and Teacher’s Pet by Avery Phillips.

I also abandoned The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black. I couldn’t get on with it at all.

The Bourbon Kings (The Bourbon Kings, #1)What do I think I’ll rArchangel's Enigma: A Guild Hunter Novel (Guild Hunter series)ead next?

The Bourbon Kings by J.R. Ward I hope! It’s still top of the list but I’m reading loads of random books I’m picking out of my kindle. Considering the fact that it’s over 1500 strong I have plenty of choice!

I really really want to read Archangel’s Enigma by Nalini Singh but I also don’t want to because again, I don’t like waiting.

I’m determined to get a bunch of my Future-Reads shelf read, it’s over a 1000 long and I’m determined to get it to 999 by the end of the year at least!
