Why not join in? Just answer the following three questions in a post and then put a link to that post in the Comments over at Taking on a World of Words.
The questions are:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
All titles link back to their respective Goodreads page.
What am I currently reading?
Currently I am reading Dauntless by Jack Campbell, it’s a little bit confusing at first but I’m not all that far into it to be fair. It’s quite good though, has a very interesting twist to it that I want to know what’s happened.
I’m also reading The Lunatic Cafe by Laurell K. Hamilton to continue on with my series re-read from August. I’ve been a smidgen sidetracked.
What did I recently finish reading?
I finally finished Fall of Night by Rachel Caine, that makes it 14 out of 15. I enjoyed Fall of Night a hell of a lot better than the book before that – Bitter Blood. It took me ages to finish Bitter Blood whereas I sat and blitzed through Fall of Night.
I also finished Daylighters which brings the Morganville Vampire Saga to a happy close! I was determined to finish the series – I’ve had them all for a grand total of 367 days. If I cut out all the breaks etc, it’s actually only taken me about 40 hours to read 4440 pages for 15 books! I’m so happy but also a little upset now that I’ve read them.
What do I think I’ll r
ead next?
The Bourbon Kings by J.R. Ward I hope! It’s still top of the list but I’m reading loads of random books I’m picking out of my kindle. Considering the fact that it’s over 1500 strong I have plenty of choice!
I really really want to read Archangel’s Enigma by Nalini Singh but I also don’t want to because again, I don’t like waiting.
I’m determined to get a bunch of my Future-Reads shelf read, it’s over a 1000 long and I’m determined to get it to 999 by the end of the year at least!
Hope you get to Bourbons King. It looks so interesting. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!

Because the Morganville vampires series was so long there was a part of me that is completely surprised it’s finished! I had to take breaks in between reading them. I definitely get the happy but a little upset thing!

I blitzed through the first 9! Then after that I was all “why? WHY?! Why am I continuing?” It was a good ending though, didn’t quite expect that

I’ll be interested to hear what you make of Lost Fleet. I haven’t read anything “spaced based” for ages, possibly not since I read Ender’s Game last year!
