This meme formerly hosted by MizB, is now hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.

Why not join in? Just answer the following three questions in a post and then put a link to that post in the Comments over at Taking on a World of Words.

The questions are:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

All images link back to their respective Goodreads page.

Heat Wave (Nikki Heat, #1)What am I currently reading? The Lunatic Cafe (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, #4)

I am still reading Heat Wave by Richard Castle but to be fair it took a back burner these past two weeks while I read some other books. That improvement I saw has kind of gone now, I’m not sure what to make of it.

The Lunatic Cafe by Laurell K. Hamilton is still being read but again, I haven’t touched it in weeks.  It’s a series re-read not a new series so I’m not overly fussed.

Call of Temptation (Call of the Lycan #3)
Call of the Untamed (Call of the Lycan, #2)What did I recently finish reading?

Only two this week and to be honest, I wouldn’t even class these as novels rather as novellas as they were quite short.  Call of the Untamed and Call of Temptation however, have brought my list of Michelle M. Pillow books down a little bit and simultaneously pushed her up the list of my most read authors. They were both good little novellas but I felt that maybe they were a smidgen too short but hey, what can you do?

Kushiel's Dart (Phèdre's Trilogy, #1)What do I think I’ll read next? The Selection (The Selection, #1)

I bought some long awaited books today so I will more than likely read those but on the other hand I have quite a few to read.  I am not going to lie I really want to read Kushiel’s Dart by Jacqueline Carey – not only is the cover beautiful, it sounds like such an intricate book.

I also might get around to reading The Selection also, to find out what all the fuss is about and finally if I can I’ll read Blood Bound by Rachel Vincent.

  1. I’ve been eyeing The Selection though I haven’t really thought of actually reading it. The Selection covers are so bright and catchy, my eyes just naturally draws onto it.

Hm, would love to hear your thoughts about it. Maybe I’ll read the novel if it seems good.

You could check my WWW here. Happy reading!
