End of the Year

It’s the end of my first year as a blogger.  I started this blog as a way to review the multitudes of books that I read throughout the year but it’s become something that matters to me.

The bibliophile community are great people, I’ve met loads of people on here who are wonderful and I’ve enjoyed every conversation we’ve had.

I challenged myself to read 210 books this year and I thought I’d never do it.  As of 29th December I’ve read 302 books. It’s the first time I’ve ever read that many books in one year and it was such a great feeling.

I’ve decided in the New Year to have a TBR jar – each book I need to read is going on a piece of paper and then into a jar and picked out at random.

A carpal tunnel diagnosis and now a successful operation to fix that has put me out commission for a long time but I hope to be back to normal in 2016 and blog posts and reviews will resume.
Happy New Year everyone
