Book Haul

Book Haul: 14th July 2016

I had an absolutely fabulous shopping trip out with my mum yesterday, got some amazing deals on books from the local charity shops and every penny goes to those charities.  A few random ones here and there, the First Law trilogy, the Chaos Walking trilogy and a nice selection of Regency Mills and Boon (I love a Mills and Boon).

All links are to Goodreads

The Blade Itself, Before They Are Hanged and Last Argument of Kings by Joe Abercrombie

The Knife of Never Letting Go, The Ask and The Answer and Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness

The Dragon Keeper and Renegade’s Magic by Robin Hobb

The Barefoot Queen by Ildefonso Falcones, Billionaire Bosses: Propositioned by the Tycoon by various authors, Story of O by Pauline Reage, Soulless by Gail Carriger, Moriarty by Anthony Horowitx, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood by Oliver Bowden and Alterant by Sherrilyn Kenyon and Dianna Love

A Regency Gentleman’s Passion by Diane Gaston, A Regency Duchess’s Awakening by Amanda McCabe, A Regency Lord’s Command by Ann Herries, A Regency Baron’s Bride by Sarah Mallory, A Regency: Courtesan’s Pride by Ann Lethbridge, A Regency Officer’s Wedding by Carla Kerry and A Regency Lady’s Scandal by Carole Mortimer.

Have you read any of these? What are your thoughts?

  1. Chaos Walking is tremendous. It can be quite hard going in places and the first one goes on a bit longer than it should, but it’s great stuff!
I hope you enjoy Moriarty. I was let down by the end, but up til then I was enjoying it 🙂
